An Air Intake Temp sensor aka AIT or IAT is most commonly used to measure temperature of the air entering your engine, a key sensor to have for any Speed Density (SD) based tuning along with a MAP sensor. This AEM AIT uses an open element sensor for fast response perfect for turbo engines that experience a wide range air temp changes as the engine transitions on and off boost.
