AEM has officially discontinued the Infinity ECU, not to worry though we are here to support and offer better more modern and advanced ECU options from Motec, Haltech, Link and Emtron. In most cased the Haltech Elite 2500 is the perfect alternative to the AEM 508 ecu. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to give us a call or send an email.
AEM Infinity 508 ECU
Not only is the AEM Infinity 508 one of our most popular ECU’s among customers, here at Brewed Motorsports we also use the AEM Infinity 508 in many of our 8 cylinder engine builds such as LS v8’s as well as 4 cylinder engines running staged injection (up to 8 injectors). Not only do we proudly use the AEM Infinity 508 ECU’s we also offer Tuning support to international customers around the world to ensure peak performance while using the Infinity ecu or plug n play package.
The Infinity 508 is designed for high performance engines with 1-8 cylinders using high impedance injectors. With built in wideband o2 controller and 8 coil outputs the Infinity 508 supports a huge range of engines. It also features the same small footprint and single, weatherproof 80-pin connector as the Infinity 506 ecu.
All Infinity series EMS includes all of the advanced features found in its larger iteration including the latest generation 200 MHz automotive processor that can process 400 MIPS. Airflow model based volumetric efficiency (VE) tuning eliminates the old style “lookup” tables needed in older generation ECUs. Flex fuel and multi-fuel capability, on-board wide band air/fuel control, map switching and knock control all allow your engine to run safely at peak efficiency. Engine protection strategies include coolant temp, oil temp, AFR vs. MAP, intake air temp, knock & fuel pressure all work to keep your engine safe even if there is a mechanical failure. Programmable drive-by-wire, variable cam timing, boost control, nitrous control and traction control have been heavily tested and developed for the best control possible.

Brewed Motorsports tuning services include, live dyno tuning, E-tuning and Track support. All Brewed Tuning services also come with specialized customer training to teach the ins and outs of the AEM tuner software, providing the customer with the knowledge needed to properly data log and monitor the engine/EMS.
Data logging up to 64GB via a removable USB is standard with logging rates up to 1KHZ per channel. The Infinity series EMS are able to communicate with 3rd party dashes and loggers via CANbus or AEMnet.
All Infinity ECU’s feature a sealed enclosure and IP67 rated communications ports suitable for engine bay mounting. AEM offers a flying lead wiring harness for the Infinity series that is 96″ in length and pre wired with power, grounds, a power relay, fuse block, wide band and AEMnet.
Brewed Motorsports has also developed many Plug n Play harness adapters. When you combine the Infinity’s capabilities and price point with our superb customer support there is no question that the Infinity 508 is the ultimate EMS for any 1-8 cylinder engine from mild to wild.
For Motorsports racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway.
