After Nissan stopped development of the 300ZX, they left those in the US high and dry without a fun sports car offering. About 8 years of no great options from Nissan, enthusiasts rejoiced with the introduction of the Nissan 350Z. With its 3.5L dual overhead cam engine and RWD layout it quickly became a popular choice for a sports car. Today the prices for 350Zs have dropped significantly allowing almost everyone the chance to own a fun RWD sports car from Nissan again. With the popularity of the 350Z lots of manufacturers developed aftermarket options for the car. Many of those power adding parts/options require a capable engine management system in order to tune the engine and ensure it is still running safely even when running a turbo kit or supercharger. Communicates with Factory CAN bus
The Link 350z ECU communicates with the 350Z/G35’s factory CAN bus system and retains full functionality of the tachometer, speedometer, coolant temp gauge, fuel economy meter, MIL light, coolant fan control and vehicle speed sensors.
