The Radium RB26 fuel rail offers a clean easy solution to converting your RB engine to Top Feed Injectors. Proper fuel delivery is arguably one of the most critical components for those looking to make all the power they can safely and reliably. The RB26 OEM fuel rails are incredibly restrictive and impede the fuel delivery to the injectors under high fuel pressures. This is problematic for high power RB engine builds where having consistent fuel pressure is absolutely necessary. With the Radium Engineering Fuel Rail kit for the Nissan RB26DETT (20-0217) you can make sure that your fuel rail is able to flow all the fuel you can push through it!
This fuel rail kit is a direct bolt-on for all RB26DETT engines and features a large 0.69″ ID bore to suit even the most fuel hungry engines.
Purchase any Radium Engineering fuel rail with a set of Injector Dynamics Injectors and get $50 credit to be used towards any of our E-tune services. We want to ensure all our customers builds are running strong and are here to support with our world renowned E-tuning services.
For thermal insulation, press-fit machined phenolic spacers and washers are included to completely isolate the fuel rail from heat transfer via the manifold and mounting bolts, as shown.
The upper injector bores are machined with a common 11mm ID (Denso). NOTE: Six custom upper injector O-rings are included allowing the use of OEM RB26DETT (JECS) injectors which normally require 10.45mm ID bores.
This kit is compatible with all fuel types including popular alcohol mixtures such as E85.
All parts listed below are included for a trouble and leak-free installation.
- Black Anodized Aluminum Fuel Rail
- Insulating Phenolic Spacers (x2)
- Insulating Phenolic Washers (x2)
- Stainless Steel Mounting Bolts (x2)
- Viton O-rings for OEM Injectors (x6)
NOTE: This fuel rail kit does NOT come standard with fittings. Fittings are purchased separately, please contact us for fitting options!
The Front, Rear, and Center Ports use 8AN ORB (3/4″-16 O-ring threads) to accept many adapter fittings for custom high flow fuel system builds. If the OEM Fuel Pressure Regulator will be reused, add the Radium Engineering OEM FPR Adapter (20-0222) to be used in the front port. The Gauge Port has 1/8″ NPT female threads commonly used for a fuel pressure gauge/sensor or it can be plugged.
Fuel Pressure Regulator Options:
The fuel rail can be plumbed to a remote aftermarket pressure regulator using -AN hose and fittings. Or the options below can be used to mount the pressure regulator directly to the fuel rail.
The front port on this fuel rail is compatible with the Radium Engineering Direct Mount Regulator with black top (20-0223-00), as shown below, or Radium Engineering Direct Mount Regulator with green top (20-0223-00). Note: Verify hood clearance is available before installing.
Fuel Pulse Damper
Do I need a pulse damper (FPD)?
The opening and closing of the injectors creates pressure pulses in the fuel rail, which can lead to unstable fuel pressure. In order to achieve a safe and consistent rail pressure, a pulse damper should be used (especially with high flow injectors). The internal diaphragm will absorb oscillation pulses and stabilize fuel pressure. The center -8AN ORB port on the fuel rail is an ideal location for a damper. It is compatible with Radium Engineering FPD-R (20-0176) or the Radium Engineering FPD-XR (20-0177), as seen in the picture below (on a KA24DE fuel rail the FPD is on the bottom in the center of the fuel rail) Not sure what damper to use, contact us and we will make sure you get the right one for your application!
Fuel Pressure Gauge
You can easily setup a Radium Engineering Mechanical Fuel Pressure Gauge (20-0029) using the 1/8 NPT port on the fuel rail as seen below (on a KA24DE fuel rail).
